The movie “The Island” which was produced by renowned Nollywood producers “Daniel Cole Chiori and Freda Francis” with one of Africa’s biggest entertainment outfit, Achievas entertainment as Executive producers and the gifted Toka Mcbaror as director, has won numerous awards at the 2018 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival, TINFF, held in Toronto, Canada.
Awards won by the film includes Best Nollywood Actress by Tokunbo Idowu popularly known as TBOSS, Best supporting Actor Segun Arinze, Best Nollywood Director Toka Mcbaror, and lastly the biggest awards of the night for Best African Film.
